Remedy for this Heart: The Forgotten Tour and a Catalyst for Awareness
The same guy almost everyday. Standing at your exit. Not begging, but simply waiting for a little compassion, cup in hand. Ever wondered how he got there? What steps happened in his life that he is standing before you, simply for the change in your cup holder? Can you imagine yourself there….what would you have to go through? Do you ever think about it? Maybe it’s time. March 30th in Atlanta is a time to not only be aware, but to join with others in thinking about how to care for those around us.
You’ve heard it quoted from the Bible, “the poor, the lost, the oppressed, the broken, the widows.” Let us come together and ask “What are the greatest needs in our area? Who around us needs our help?” It’s not about a statistic, it’s about a person. The Forgotten Tour from Remedy for this Heart is coming to help us remember the person. Remedy for this Heart is about a remedy for all of our hearts, a remembrance of those around us who might have been forgotten. None of us ever wants to be forgotten. We can change a life at a time.
All proceeds from The Forgotten Tour will aid a friend of Remedy for this Heart, Kyle, who has been living in a situation of homelessness. Please bring your spare change, “Change for Change,” or make sure you pick up some merchandise benefiting Kyle.
